Bill has been a career Flight Paramedic for over 11 years and in EMS for 17 years. He has been involved in pre-hospital education with various universities and programs for the past 15 years. Throughout his career he was assigned to the training division in which he was tasked with educating entry level flight paramedics as well as providing continuing education to tenured flight paramedics. Bill has a strong passion for education and travels nationwide providing high quality simulation education for prehospital and in hospital clinicians. He also facilitates National Conference Clinical Challenges to include ECHO and AMTC.
Recognized for the delivery of exemplary patient care and, as a lecturer and motivator of others including the 2015 NAEMT Educator of the Year award. Matt has dedicated his time to supporting his Non-Profit Training Organization by developing and implementing educational programs for EMS, First Responders, Hospitals and laypersons. Providing First aid and CPR training for businesses, community groups as well as specialized programs to meet the needs of the food service industry and educational institutions. In addition to his role as an EMS instructor matt is a Consultant/Clinical Educator for iSimulate, Handtevy and Teleflex as well serving in the role of Affiliate Faculty for the National Association of EMT’s training programs and as Training Center Faculty for the American Heart Association. Matt also serves as a coordinator/facilitator for multiple national clinical simulation challenges hosted by national medical society conferences.
Cody has been in EMS for 18 years, serving in both military and civilian settings. His professional experiences include serving as an educator for initial paramedic instruction programs, clinical manager, EMS operations manager, and EMS Operations Director. He is currently serving as a flight paramedic with PHI Air Medical and volunteers for the education committee for the ICAPP.
Ashlyn is a Paramedic/Firefighter in a fire and rescue department in the metropolitan DC area. She has been practicing EMS for 11 years and is currently assigned as a Lieutenant in the EMS Training Division. Her responsibilities include oversight in the development and delivery of the department’s continuing education program as well as content creation for new providers. Ashlyn is committed to providing fun and innovative educational opportunities to providers who are looking to increase their knowledge and improve their skills outside of the typical classroom.
Chris has been a career Paramedic/Firefighter for over 16 years and in EMS for over 22. He has been in pre-hospital and in-hospital education for the past 17 years. His last assignment before returning to operations was as the EMS Training Captain in charge of continuing education programs and certification. He is also affiliate faculty with the Virginia Commonwealth University Paramedic Program. He is the US Clinical Education Manager for iSimulate and also facilitates National Conference Clinical Challenges to include EMS World, ENA and NTI.
